I had the lovely opportunity of photographing this couple this past summer. They met while they were both serving LDS missions in France and the bride’s parents are currently mission presidents in Lyon, France, so they decided to get married over there! They got married in France, sealed in the Bern, Switzerland, LDS Temple, and had a lovely reception at the bride’s home in Provo.

Remember these two? Well, I’m finally sharing their St. Louis summer wedding!
Morgan wanted her wedding day to be unconventional with some traditional elements.
Morgan’s “bridesmaids” were actually boys, and one of Sven’s “groomsmen” was a girl.
Sven and Morgan both work at General Mills so they incorporated their love of food into their wedding day. Which I loved!
Instead of flowers, Morgan made paper flowers from General Mills flour bags, the stem of the bouquet was a wooden mixing spoon! Food was very important, so Sven and Morgan had their wedding at a steak house. Instead of a champagne toast, they did a milk and cookie dunk!
(with flavored milk of course) After the two tied the knot, the whole wedding party danced down the isle. These people know how to have a good time!
Also, Morgan and her Dad are huge fans of the band, The Who. (I mean, really really big fans..I believe license plates are involved!) Not only did they walk down they isle to a song by The Who, during their father-daughter dance, they danced to a song by The Who while wearing the band’s leather jackets and running shoes. It was a hit! I loved being able to spend the day with these two!

With all the wintery days we have been having lately, I thought it would be nice to look back and remember when it was warm!
